POLICY PRACTICES

How We Handle Data, Security and Your Account

Transparency in data handling and account security is not a formality for us — it is built into how the platform runs.

Data We Collect

We collect the information needed to verify your identity, process payments via UPI, Paytm or PhonePe, and detect unusual account activity. We do not collect data beyond what is necessary for these functions, and we do not sell it.

Cookie Policy

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand which parts of the platform you use most. You can manage cookie preferences from your browser settings at any time without losing your account data.

Account Security Measures

All accounts are protected by two-factor authentication via your registered mobile number. Login attempts from unrecognised devices trigger an SMS verification step before access is granted, reducing the risk of unauthorised entry.

Data Retention Period

Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active and for a further period required by applicable law after closure. When the retention period expires, data is securely deleted from our systems.

Your Right to Request Changes

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct inaccurate records, or request deletion where no legal obligation requires us to retain it. Submit these requests by email to our legal desk with your account reference.

Grievance Officer

In line with applicable Indian law, we have a designated Grievance Officer who handles data-related complaints. Contact details for the Grievance Officer are available in the Help Centre under the 'Data and Privacy' section.

Legal Policy Questions Answered

These are the questions we receive most often about our terms, your account rights, and how we handle legal matters. Each answer reflects how the policy actually works in practice.

Our terms apply wherever access to the platform is permitted under local law. Eligibility depends on the regulations in your state or union territory within India, and it is your responsibility to confirm that access is lawful in your location.

Yes. Email our legal desk with your registered account address and a written request. We will compile and send your data within the timeframe required under applicable Indian data protection law, typically within 30 days of receiving the request.

Email the legal desk within 30 days of the transaction date. Include your account reference, the UPI or Paytm transaction ID, the amount, and a brief description of the issue. We will acknowledge within two business days and work toward resolution within seven.

We retain your data for the period required by applicable law after account closure, after which it is securely deleted. You may request confirmation of deletion once the retention period has lapsed by contacting the legal desk in writing.

We notify you by email to your registered address whenever material changes are made to our terms. A notice will also appear on the platform when you next log in. Continued use of your account after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Our Grievance Officer handles data and privacy complaints as required under applicable Indian law. Their contact details — name, email, and response timeframe — are published in the Help Centre under the 'Data and Privacy' section and are updated whenever the officer changes.

We may restrict or close an account if terms are breached or if required by law. If your account is closed and you believe this was in error, you may contact the legal desk in writing. Any balance held at the time of closure will be handled according to our terms and applicable law.
